The Gift of Life

Today was Sanctity of Human Life Sunday. We watched Gabriella, an adorable Bethany foster baby during the church service for our friends, the Whartons. We attended the annual special service to affirm life at the National Memorial for the Unborn. I introduced our speaker and spoke of the ways the Memorial has ministered to people all over the world during the past year. Carol Martin, the director, spoke of God's faithfulness and forgiveness. Attendees came from all over -- several places in Tennessee and Georgia. And the weather was beautiful, after several days of freezing cold!
After that we celebrated the life and birthday of our granddaughter Molly, now a year old! We used our computer Skype program to listen to her giggle and watch her eat a banana. What a wonderful new little life she is. We are thankful to God for little Miss Molly Jane!

I'm so thankful for ministries like Bethany and for the work of the Memorial. And it turned out to be a beautiful day, too!

It's hard to believe Molly's already a year old! What a sweetheart! I'm looking forward to her next visit.
