Enoch and Kenny

This is a truth we need to remember

The apostle Paul reminds us in many of his epistles to walk in the Spirit.
Our Wednesday Bible study is digging into Colossians and we were discussing verse 6 of chapter 2. The author, Kathleen Nielson writes, " The Greek verb here is literally 'to walk': the verse tells us to 'walk in him'."
Kim, a woman who loves to walk shared some thoughts the Holy Spirit gave her about this verse. When we walk, we have a purpose, we have a pace, we follow a path, there is a progression, a pattern and often a partner. Someone else added, "and we have to perservere!"
It reminded me of my father, Kenny, and his advice to each of us as we were growing up; "Hold tightly to Jesus' hand."
"For I am the LORD, your God, who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you."
Isaiah 41:13
